Showcase Your Research

Poster presentations showcase the scientific and scholarly achievements of researchers and the work done to advance the field of food science. Academics, students, and industry professionals are selected to present original research as either an ePoster or printed poster presentation.

During their presentation session ePoster and poster presenters will give an introduction to the research conducted, then explain the methods used and conclusions of the research. In addition, presenters will share the significance of the research and what impact it has on consumers, industry professionals, and fellow researchers. The schedule of accepted ePosters and posters will be available by March 2018.

What is the difference between an ePoster and printed poster?
ePosters are digital poster displays in which the presenter is given a specific time to present in front of a seated audience to discuss research and share their results. Posters are printed posters in which the presenter displays on an 8x4 foot board for attendees to view.

Visit the Call for Proposals webpage for full details regarding how to submit your research along with competition guidelines. Technical Research Paper Abstracts (printed poster and ePoster abstracts) are due by December 18, 2017.
