Powerful Addition to the Arena Liquid Liner Capability
Rochester, NY, May 22, 2019– Arena Products, a manufacturer of IBC Shippers and Liquid Liners, has unveiled a newly designed, patent pending Aseptic bottom fill and bottom discharge valve. This valve, when combined with the patented line of Air Evac® liquid liners forms a revolutionary alternative to steel tanks.
The Arena aseptic valve comes in two configurations, a 2.5 inch tri-clamp butterfly and a DN50 butterfly version, both connectable and built with FDA approved materials. These valves are capable of withstanding steam sterilization for up to 20 minutes at 20 PSI (285F), 5 minutes at 25 PSI (266F) and 2 minutes at 30 PSI (274F).
The cleverly designed valve system comes with a protective cap, an easy to use tamper evident feature set and a robust handle design that provides critical ease of use leverage for opening and closing. Rounding out the design are latch tabs that provide positive feedback for operators that the valve has been securely closed.
“This valve is a game changer for us at Arena Products. It aligns beautifully with our multi-year strategy to vertically integrate and attack specific markets. We are really excited about the opportunities this affords us, particularly when you combine this valve with our complete system of shippers and patented Air Evac® liquid liners” said Scott Alread, Senior Director of Sales and Market Development.
While this valve is specifically designed to use with Arena 330 Shipper™, versions are available for other 275 gallon and 330 gallon IBC units. The Arena valve is built to quickly snap into most collapsible liquid IBC containers.
